This club has two regulation eighteen hole courses. The terrain on the fairways is crowned, and the small greens are undulating. A difficult hole is #3, a 517-yard, par 5, featuring a sharp dogleg right fairway with water sitting at the turn. Players can attempt to hit the green in two, but if they come up short they'll hear a splash. The Harbour Point Golf Links Course offers small greens and tight fairways. The course was designed to play alongside Broad Creek, and water hazards (six ponds) come into play on seven holes. The fairways are tree lined and very flat because there are no changes in elevation. The wind is sometimes a factor in the late afternoons. Every green is protected by strategically-placed sand bunkers. The most difficult hole is probably #11, a 493-yard, par 5, featuring a narrow landing area with water on the left. River Bend Golf and Country Club, an 18-hole course with a 71 par, is a semiprivate course allowing greens-fee play.
During the week you may play for $12; on Saturday and Sunday, the fee is $15.
Carts are available for $11. The course is open daily. All you need to do is call and set your tee time. Ron Anderson is the club's PGA professional. River Bend offers a well-stocked pro shop and a driving range for nonmembers. This is truly one of the area's nicest courses. Tennis is available at no charge if you are a member or a guest.

Rees Jones designed The Emerald, creating the 7000-yard course to be a challenge to golfers at all levels of skill. Jones used various grasses to give each hole a different feel and appearance, and sculptured the 18-hole course to create variety. Most holes have four or five pin locations. The fourth tee, for example, features four locations that hit across the water and one high land route. Tee times should be reserved two days in advance. Fees for playing the course change according to the day of the week. Monday through Thursday, golfers are charged $37, which includes the cart. If you want to play Friday through Sunday, you will pay $42, including the cart. Description: Semiprivate Rees Jones designed course. Home of the Curtis Strange Shrine Classic.
